For the next few months, we will learn from the Pastoral Epistles, 1&2 Timothy and Titus. These letters give us good insight into the priorities of a pastor, which should also help the church members know better how to function. Young, timid Timothy was left in Ephesus, the most pagan city of the New Testament era. (No wonder he had stomach problems and was told to drink wine!)
