Families welcome

At Washington Alliance Church, we love families — and we’re building a place where they feel truly at home.

Each Sunday, we offer Children’s Church for preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our small class size allows for personal attention in a safe, caring environment where your child can learn about Jesus in a fun and meaningful way.

Our volunteers are kind, patient, and passionate about helping kids feel included — whether it’s their first Sunday or their fiftieth.

We’re a sensory-friendly church. That means we understand that kids sometimes wiggle, make noise, or need a little space. And that’s okay with us. We don’t expect silence — we expect life!

We also provide hearing protection for those with sound sensitivities, and our lobby is equipped with windows and audio so families can still participate in the service from a quieter space if needed. Whether your child needs a break or you simply feel more comfortable stepping out, you’ll never feel out of place here.

For infants and toddlers, we have a cozy nursery with toys. It’s not behind closed doors — there’s a window so parents can peek in at any time and feel confident their little one is safe and nearby. It’s a space designed with both parent and child in mind.
